Packing for Florida

We are taking a trip to Florida. We are leaving on Wednesday night after I pick my daughter up from her father’s and driving down.

We plan on getting there Thursday afternoon.

We have to be back by the following Friday by 6pm. My daughter goes back to her dads for the weekend.

I know there will be a washer and dryer there so we can wash clothes so we don’t need to pack as much.

For my daughter who is 4 years old needs a dress for the wedding. Which I’ve already gotten. She’ll need two pairs of shorts and 2 pairs of pants.

Shirts when we are there and pants for the drive back.

4 pairs of socks and underwear. A pack of pull ups for nap time and bed time and the drive incase of accidents.

Swim suit and a pair of flip flops.

The baby will need diapers and wipes and but cream in case of diaper rash while gone. A nice outfit for the wedding. 2 pairs of socks, 4 shorts, 5 onies and shirts combined, along with 3 pairs of pants.

Also baby food and baby snacks. Bottles, formula, baby cereal, distilled water.

For myself I got 3 dresses I couldn’t decide which to wear for the wedding so I packed all three. One pair of pants. Three pairs of short leggings and one long. 5 pairs of underwear and socks. 3 bras and 3 tanks tops with the built in bra.

Pajamas pants and shorts. 1 matching Pajamas outfit. Tennis shoes for the drive. Flats for the wedding and flip flops for the beach.

Hank wedding outfit. 2 pants, 4 shorts and new pack of white t shirts because all the old ones are faded and stained. 5 pairs of socks and 6 pairs of underwear. Nice shoes for the wedding and then he got a new pair crocks. Also his boots just in case he needed them.

Then we packed pillows and blankets just in case. The baby’s pack n play. Toys for the kids. Phone chargers for the car and the ones that plug into the wall.

A book in case I get a chance to read. Paper and pen in case I want to write or get inspired.

Hygiene stuff toothbrush, paste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, floss, lotion, razer, and contact stuff.

Cooler with stuff to make sandwiches. Bottled water so we don’t have to spend extra money on drinks.

If you dont have Bluetooth need aux cord if you don’t want to listen to the radio the whole time.

Hank wants me to make smoothies for the road because some of our smoothie stuff will expire before we get back like milk and some of the yogurt.

I’ll share the smoothies I make for the road next time.

After I share my smoothies I make, I’ll have another post about packing tips. Which will include why I packed what I did for Florida, how I came to the decision, how to pack of you don’t have a way to wash your clothes while your away, and also how to pack with limited space.
